So for those of you who don't know, my brother (Alyson writing here) is the director of skateboard marketing for DC. He's worked in the skateboard industry for as long as I can remember...which is awesome for me because he likes to pass down free stuff. (Here's a tip for those of you thinking about what you want to do "when you grow up". If you go into marketing, you get a lot of free stuff). For my brother, that free stuff has translated into about a million t-shirts, shoes, and cds. Which is also great for you, because when he gets sick of it or realizes that he has more t-shirts than he could ever possibly wear in his lifetime, it gets passed on to us. This weekend, he brought down an entire car full of shoes, clothing (even some girls stuff!) a few hundred cds and some other random stuff. So in honor of my brother, this Wednesday will be Giveway Wednesday. We're giving away all kinds of stuff. But if you want first pick, here's what you need to know: Everyone who brings a friend who's never visited with us before will get to pick first. 3 items per friend you bring, and you'll get to choose in the order you sign in. ALSO, anyone who has volunteered in the office or the snackbar will get to choose before even those people -2 items per person. So if you volunteered AND you bring a friend, you might just get a whole bunch of free stuff this week. Think about it this way. You get some free stuff and your friends get the chance to hear about the greatest free gift of all: eternal life through Christ. Its a win-WIN. See you Wednesday....
